My Quote of the Day for today says, “It’s a good day to have a good day, Vedant.”
In saying this, it’s indirectly demanding me to make my day meaningful and satisfactory.
I noticed that they used the word “good” instead of great because great refers to the highest standards and it’s unrealistic to plan for a great day.
So to begin with, what makes a day good for you?
If you ask me, it’s the amount of work I’ve got done that specific day. If I complete all my daily duties, that’s enough and I’ll be tagging it as a good day because I’m well pleased and contended with my accomplishments. Moreover, I’m proud of the fact that the day went as I planned it, it’s an achievement.
In chorus of this, it’s important to know that there are certain elements of our day that we can’t control and there are some specific ones that are under my command.
I can’t go outside without my mask if that makes my day “good” in any sense because the pandemic is not under my control but nevertheless, I can take all the necessary precautions and still have a wonderful time to make my day good.
Focus and remodel the bits that you can control to make your day better, to make your day more productive, healthier, entertaining and pleasant.
Isn’t it a good day to make your day what you want it to be?
