Being taught competitions from school, people have started believing that everything they do in life which someone else is doing as well should be considered as a competition, a race which you have to win while dominating other beings who are on the same road as you.
When I posted this article, one of the things that struck me was the absence of selfishness and greed. Motivating and cheering up someone when they’re doing well should be a genuine act and you should do it without thinking much.
Supporting another’s success won’t dampen yours. We see movies and shows where the brave main character who could win stops in the midway of the game to help his injured opponent but does that actually happen? Modesty is a significant but is hardly seen.
